The first footage I saw of him was in the Kayo vid, and I was blown away. Trick selection and steeze to back it. Reminded me of an early Bieble style. Nollie Heels on lockdown!
Monday nights at The Rail was the weekly sesh for most of 08's ridiculously long and drawn out winter. Jonathan shakes of the rust and locks down a few new tricks for the spring time. Cameo's by Jerry and Jay G.
The Blog has been collecting a bit of dust lately, so I figured I could try and "freshen" things up with a new segment I call: "Guys Who Skate Good and Stuff". New, Old, Whatever. Just Stuff im feelin.
Nick Trapasso - Lurkfest? (newer footage anyways..)
Nick Trapasso - Suffer The Joy
Scott Kane x Nick Trapasso
Scott Kane - Bootleg 3000
* and as far as I know, Scott Kane STILL doesnt have a board sponsor.
So I guess it was Mark P. who came across this gem. Almost like a time warp. Back in the prime King Boardshop days, we used to travel around to wierd little skate contests and games of skate. Since John and I really cant skate anything other than flat land, it was perfect, and when we heard about a one-thousand dollar winner take all game of skate, we were all over it. The fact that it was way the hell in Midland didnt really matter, cause we were pumped on redbull, and flatland.
The video speaks for itself. Basically, John made it to the finals, and got beat out by a kid doing basic tricks. $1000 for him. John Gets Nothing. Classic.
