This is a behind the scenes clip I shot during production of Dead Balls, a Tennis comedy. Shown here is Lyndon Casey playing Adam, a young up-rising hot shot. This is just an insert scene where he is going through the emotions of getting his ass wopped by Turk Bungert, a straight outta the 80's tennis legend.

AMC Ransack
I still call this clip "AMC" Ransack, despite the obvious fact that it was shot at the Famous Players 9 set ledge. LaBella is always houndin me out on that one. Basically this clip is amazing for 3 reasons. One - "Buddy" tries to choke slam me as I roll up to the ledge in attempt of a kickflip noseslide. Two - Kevin Rasmussen gets allup inda faceeee. Three - I still cant decide who's T shirts are better... our sick power threads, or jocko homo and his pals reppin the Famous Players faux Hawaiian shirt get ups. Fuck you and your shit, we still skate there all the time. Biiiiatch.

I Know You Have One Too...
Everybody has that drawer in thier room where they keep old photos and VHS dubs of skate videos you made from your friends. I will admit it, I have like 5 of those drawers. But just last night, I discovered that I have the digital equilivent to that drawer. My hard drive is like a maze sometimes. I was just going through photos trying to find a specific one I wanted to post, and I stumbled upon hundreds of hillarious, and amazing photos from when I was in grade 9, or even before. Here are some of the Gems...

Legends Never Die...
As you may already know, one of New York's finest, Harold Hunter, recently passed away. Rumors are said to be of an over-dose, but nothing I have come across was 100% reliable. R.I.P. to one of the greats.

Making The Cut
This is a production I am currently working on as the location mixer (sound for those not audio knownledged). This short film is based around the main character, Larry, who is dating a jewish girl, Clair, and is conviced by his office co-workers, Jake & Steve, to get a circumsision. The talent in this film is amazing. Between takes is when the real money goes down. In additon to recording sound for the film, I am also shooting some produciton stills. Here are a few that Made the Cut.

Archives Vol. 2
Mike McCourt VS Commerce Court - Just the sound of this clip is enough to make you wanna be there. Anyone who skated this ledge knows how truely satisfying it was. LaBella was supposed to shoot a willy grind photo on this bad ass, but i guess that won't happen... RIP commerce front ledge.
PS. Im pretty sure McCourt Won This Round.

Killer Boots Man
Tuesdays Common Grounds Adventure consisted of Mr. John LaBella, Sir Carmine LaBella, and Myself. It was an old fashioned skate fest. We got into Woodbrige around 2:40 and ate some pizza slices while Carm proceded to learn switch shoveit late flips in the parking lot. We started skating around 3:00, before we knew it, 6 hours had gone by and it was nearing 9:00. Having the place all to yourself really makes a difference, and this was without a doubt, the best sesh I have had there in a long time.
Official Game of Skate Tally: John - 2, Kris - 2, Carm - a Million.
Carm had Switch Tre's on Lock. I once hurd a rumor about Guy Mariano being able to throw down switch tres over a pyramid in Timberlands. Until yesterday, I though that might be a little crazy.

Out With The Old...
Today was a big day for me... I had to give up my PC. Ive been on the Mac program for a while now, but today, I had to say goodbye to my trusty Dell Tower. Im sure with this dual monitor & 500 gig setup, I will soon forget what those two letters even meant. PC .... Pshhhh.

Fine Tuning with John LaBella
Back in Highschool, John and I were asked by Cogeco/Boardtopia to put together some segments for a TV series "Boardmania". Apparently it was aired, and tapes of the show exist somewhere. I might have to stroll over to Cogeco and see if I can grab some dubs. Neither John or I has ever seen the completed episodes. This is one of the segments that may or may not be floating around on cable access television.

Mocumentary - A Look Behind The Scenes
Photos: Andrew Norton
Audio equipment put a slight delay on the first shoot. Needless to say, it was worth fixing the problem, and having quality audio. Today, we are planning to shoot a street style segment in Toronto, updates will follow. For the mean time...

Milton Park January
This has been the most amazing Winter ever. When you get to skate in a T Shirt almost once a week, you know something is up. Here is a clip from that day. Photos from this spectacular day can be found on T Cabs Photo Blog.
